FAQ
About connecting apps
How do AI agents connect to my apps in Brainwrite?
Open Connected apps, search for the service, choose Connect, and finish that app's sign-in in your browser. The official Brainwrite app provisions the connection service for you, and access tokens stay with that service instead of being written into bot prompts.
Can I stop a bot from using an app?
Yes. In each bot's settings you give it all tools, an exact list of tools, or none, per app. A bot without a grant is never offered that tool. Imported bots and shared team files always arrive with no grants.
Can I connect more than one account for the same app?
Yes. Connect several accounts of one service and label each, such as work, personal, or a client name. When more than one account could do an action, Brainwrite asks the bot to pick one explicitly instead of guessing.
What happens when I disconnect an app?
Disconnecting revokes that account's access at the service itself, not just in Brainwrite's list. Other accounts you connected for the same app stay connected.
