Apollo connects through Composio with an API key. You choose which bots get which tools, and sequence enrollments come to you for approval unless you've allowed them.

How to connect Apollo.

Open Connected apps
In Brainwrite, choose Connected apps in the sidebar. The official app sets up the connection service for you; there's no key to paste.

Search for Apollo
Find Apollo and choose Connect. You can add more than one account later and label each, such as work or a client.

Sign in in your browser
Finish Apollo's own sign-in in your normal browser. The access token stays with the connection service and never enters a bot's prompt.

Choose which bots get it
In each bot's settings, give it all tools, an exact list, or none. Imported bots start with none, so nothing reaches your account by surprise.

Brainwrite and Apollo: questions

How do I connect Apollo to Brainwrite?

Open Connected apps, search for Apollo, and select Connect. Composio's Apollo toolkit uses an API key rather than an OAuth sign-in, so the page that opens in your browser asks for a key from your Apollo settings. The key stays with Composio and never appears in a bot's prompt.

How do I limit what a bot can do in Apollo?

In the bot's settings under Connected apps, choose all Apollo tools, an exact list, or none. A research bot can get search and enrichment tools without the sequence tools, so it can build lists but never enroll anyone. Ungranted tools are never offered to the model.

Does enrichment use my Apollo credits?

Enrichment runs against your own Apollo account, so it follows your Apollo plan's limits and credits. Brainwrite doesn't add any data or credits of its own. Ask the bot to enrich a small batch first and check the results before running a large list.
