How to connect Reddit.

Open Connected apps
In Brainwrite, choose Connected apps in the sidebar. The official app sets up the connection service for you; there's no key to paste.

Search for Reddit
Find Reddit and choose Connect. You can add more than one account later and label each, such as work or a client.

Sign in in your browser
Finish Reddit's own sign-in in your normal browser. The access token stays with the connection service and never enters a bot's prompt.

Choose which bots get it
In each bot's settings, give it all tools, an exact list, or none. Imported bots start with none, so nothing reaches your account by surprise.

How do I connect Reddit to Brainwrite?

Open Connected apps, search for Reddit, and choose Connect. Reddit's authorization page opens in your browser; sign in and allow access. Back in Brainwrite, ask a bot with Reddit tools to read a subreddit's rules to check it works. The token stays with Composio, never in a prompt.

Can I let a bot read Reddit but never post?

Yes. In the bot's settings under Connected apps, set Reddit to an exact list of search and read tools. Leave out create post, post comment, edit, and vote. Those tools are never offered to that bot, which is the right setup for a research or lead-finding bot.

Is there a ready-made team for Reddit leads?
