How to connect Mailchimp.

Open Connected apps
In Brainwrite, choose Connected apps in the sidebar. The official app sets up the connection service for you; there's no key to paste.

Search for Mailchimp
Find Mailchimp and choose Connect. You can add more than one account later and label each, such as work or a client.

Sign in in your browser
Finish Mailchimp's own sign-in in your normal browser. The access token stays with the connection service and never enters a bot's prompt.

Choose which bots get it
In each bot's settings, give it all tools, an exact list, or none. Imported bots start with none, so nothing reaches your account by surprise.

How do I connect Mailchimp to Brainwrite?

Open Connected apps, search for Mailchimp, and select Connect. Label the account, then sign in to Mailchimp in the browser window that opens and approve access. Back in Brainwrite, bots with a Mailchimp grant can start working. Composio keeps the OAuth token, so it never appears in a prompt.

Can a bot send a campaign to my whole list on its own?

Not by default. Sending or scheduling a campaign comes to you as an approval card unless you've allowed it. For extra safety, give the drafting bot an exact list of Mailchimp tools that includes create campaign, set content, and send test, but leaves out send and schedule.

How do I limit what a bot can do in Mailchimp?

In the bot's settings under Connected apps, set Mailchimp to all tools, an exact list, or none. A reporting bot might only get campaign report and search tools. Imported bots and teams from the library arrive with no grants, so nothing reaches your audience until you assign tools.
