How to connect Fireflies.

Open Connected apps
In Brainwrite, choose Connected apps in the sidebar. The official app sets up the connection service for you; there's no key to paste.

Search for Fireflies
Find Fireflies and choose Connect. You can add more than one account later and label each, such as work or a client.

Sign in in your browser
Finish Fireflies's own sign-in in your normal browser. The access token stays with the connection service and never enters a bot's prompt.

Choose which bots get it
In each bot's settings, give it all tools, an exact list, or none. Imported bots start with none, so nothing reaches your account by surprise.

Brainwrite and Fireflies: questions

How do I connect Fireflies to Brainwrite?

Open Connected apps, search for Fireflies, and select Connect. Composio's Fireflies toolkit uses an API key rather than an OAuth sign-in, so the page that opens in your browser asks for the key from your Fireflies settings. It stays with Composio and is never written into a bot's prompt.

How do I limit what a bot can do in Fireflies?

In the bot's settings under Connected apps, choose all Fireflies tools, an exact list, or none. A follow-up bot usually needs only the transcript and AskFred tools. Leaving delete transcript and set user role out of the grant means the model is never offered them.

Does it work with Zoom and Google Meet calls?

It works with whatever Fireflies has recorded. If Fireflies joins your Zoom, Meet, or Teams calls, those transcripts are available to the bot through the Fireflies connection. A bot can also add the Fireflies notetaker to a live meeting by its link.
