Vercel AI agents for deployments and logs

Brainwrite connects Vercel to your AI agents so they can list deployments, read build events and runtime logs, check domains, and manage environment variables. A bot can tell you why the last preview failed or confirm a domain's DNS is set up correctly. Promoting a deployment to production waits for an approval card unless you've allowed it.

Jobs

Jobs your team does with Vercel.

Failed build explainer

A bot reads the build events of a failed deployment, finds the first real error, and points you to the file and commit.

Launch-day domain check

Before launch, a bot checks each domain's configuration and DNS records and lists anything still pointing elsewhere.

Runtime error watch

A routine reads production runtime logs and reports repeated errors since the last deploy.

Set up

How to connect Vercel.

  1. 01

    Open Connected apps

In Brainwrite, choose Connected apps in the sidebar. The official app sets up the connection service for you; there's no key to paste.

  2. 02

    Search for Vercel

Find Vercel and choose Connect. You can add more than one account later and label each, such as work or a client.

  3. 03

    Sign in in your browser

Finish Vercel's own sign-in in your normal browser. The access token stays with the connection service and never enters a bot's prompt.

  4. 04

    Choose which bots get it

In each bot's settings, give it all tools, an exact list, or none. Imported bots start with none, so nothing reaches your account by surprise.

The Apps catalog: Slack, GitHub, Gmail, Google Calendar, Sheets, Docs, Drive, Notion, Linear, Sentry, PostHog and Discord, each with Connect.

FAQ

Brainwrite and Vercel: questions

How do I connect Vercel to Brainwrite?

Open Connected apps, search for Vercel, and choose Connect, then finish the authorization step in the browser window that opens. Return to Brainwrite and ask a bot with Vercel tools to list your projects. Credentials stay with Composio and never appear in a bot's prompt.

Which Vercel tools should I keep away from most bots?

The toolkit includes tools that buy domains, delete projects, and read environment variables. In each bot's settings under Connected apps, set Vercel to an exact list such as deployments, build events, and runtime logs. Grant environment variable and domain purchase tools only to a bot you trust with them, or to none.

Can a bot roll back a bad Vercel deploy?

The connector can promote an earlier deployment to production, which is how many teams roll back. Because that changes your live site, it waits for an approval card unless you've allowed it. A bot can find the last good deployment and prepare the step for you.
