Supabase AI agents for queries, logs, and schema
Brainwrite connects Supabase to your AI agents so they can run read-only SQL, read table schemas, check project logs and service health, and generate TypeScript types. A bot can answer a product question from your data, or explain a spike in errors from the logs. You grant write tools, such as migrations, only to the bots that need them.
Brainwrite · SupabaseUsing read-only SQL on the production Supabase project, count new signups per day for the last 14 days and tell me which day had the biggest drop. Show me the query you ran.
You connect Supabase once. Your Chief of Staff puts a bot on it.
Run a read-only SQL query against a project database

Data questions in plain English
Ask how many teams signed up last week. A bot reads the schema, writes read-only SQL, runs it, and shows both the query and the answer.
Log check
A bot reads recent project logs and service health and summarises errors since the last deploy.
Schema review
Before a release, a bot lists tables and migration history and flags migrations that have not reached production.
Set up
How to connect Supabase.
- 01
Open Connected apps
In Brainwrite, choose Connected apps in the sidebar. The official app sets up the connection service for you; there's no key to paste.
- 02
Search for Supabase
Find Supabase and choose Connect. You can add more than one account later and label each, such as work or a client.
- 03
Sign in in your browser
Finish Supabase's own sign-in in your normal browser. The access token stays with the connection service and never enters a bot's prompt.
- 04
Choose which bots get it
In each bot's settings, give it all tools, an exact list, or none. Imported bots start with none, so nothing reaches your account by surprise.

Release readiness
Rigel sweeps open pull requests each weeknight and reports what is ready, stalled, or failing. You merge.
Engineering
Weekly report
Each Friday the Chief of Staff gathers shipped work, open issues, and pipeline changes into one report you approve.
Operations
Issue triage
A bot reads new issues, groups duplicates, and proposes labels, priority, and owners for you to approve.

FAQ
Brainwrite and Supabase: questions
How do I connect Supabase to Brainwrite?
Open Connected apps, search for Supabase, and choose Connect, then finish the authorization in the browser window that opens. Back in the app, ask a bot with Supabase tools to list your projects. Credentials stay with Composio and are never written into prompts.
How do I make sure a bot can only read my Supabase data?
In the bot's settings under Connected apps, set Supabase to an exact list that includes the read-only query tool and schema and log tools. Leave out the general query tool, migrations, and delete tools. A bot cannot call a tool it isn't granted, because that tool is never offered to its model.
Should I point a bot at my production database?
Start with read-only access and a staging project or database branch. The connector can apply migrations and run queries that change data, so keep those tools off for most bots and keep the thread in Ask mode. The Inspector shows every query a bot ran.
