Shopify AI agents for orders, products, and stock
Brainwrite connects Shopify to your AI agents so they can look up orders and customers, update products, read inventory levels, and prepare discount codes. A bot can answer where an order is, rewrite a product description, or list items running low. Refunds, cancellations, and discounts wait for an approval card unless you've allowed them.
Brainwrite · ShopifyList Shopify products with fewer than 10 units in stock at the main warehouse, and draft new descriptions for the five best sellers whose descriptions are under 50 words.

Set up
How to connect Shopify.
- 01
Open Connected apps
In Brainwrite, choose Connected apps in the sidebar. The official app sets up the connection service for you; there's no key to paste.
- 02
Search for Shopify
Find Shopify and choose Connect. You can add more than one account later and label each, such as work or a client.
- 03
Sign in in your browser
Finish Shopify's own sign-in in your normal browser. The access token stays with the connection service and never enters a bot's prompt.
- 04
Choose which bots get it
In each bot's settings, give it all tools, an exact list, or none. Imported bots start with none, so nothing reaches your account by surprise.

FAQ
Brainwrite and Shopify: questions
How do I connect Shopify to Brainwrite?
Open Connected apps, search for Shopify, and choose Connect. Shopify's authorization opens in your browser for your store; approve and return to the app. If you run more than one store, connect each with its own label, up to five accounts per app. Tokens stay with Composio.
Can I let a bot read orders but not refund or cancel them?
Yes. In the bot's settings under Connected apps, set Shopify to an exact list of order, customer, and product read tools. Leave out refund, cancel, delete, and discount tools. Those tools are never offered to that bot, and each allow or deny is logged.
Does the Ecommerce SEO team use Shopify?
The Ecommerce SEO team in the library audits product pages through the browser and does not require any connected app. If you also connect Shopify, you can grant a bot product tools so approved title and description changes are made in your store instead of copied by hand.
