Webex AI agents for spaces, messages, and teams
Brainwrite connects Webex to your AI agents so they can list your spaces, read message history, post text, markdown, or file messages, create rooms, and add people to teams. You sign in with Webex in your browser, give each bot all Webex tools, an exact list, or none, and messages come to you as approval cards unless you've allowed them.
Brainwrite · WebexRead the Product and Customer Success spaces in Webex from the last two days. Summarise the decisions and open questions, list anything someone asked me directly, and draft a reply to each one for me to approve.
You connect Webex once. Your Chief of Staff puts a bot on it.

Set up
How to connect Webex.
- 01
Open Connected apps
In Brainwrite, choose Connected apps in the sidebar. The official app sets up the connection service for you; there's no key to paste.
- 02
Search for Webex
Find Webex and choose Connect. You can add more than one account later and label each, such as work or a client.
- 03
Sign in in your browser
Finish Webex's own sign-in in your normal browser. The access token stays with the connection service and never enters a bot's prompt.
- 04
Choose which bots get it
In each bot's settings, give it all tools, an exact list, or none. Imported bots start with none, so nothing reaches your account by surprise.

FAQ
Brainwrite and Webex: questions
How do I connect Webex to Brainwrite?
Open Connected apps, search for Webex, and select Connect. Label the account, then complete Webex's sign-in in the browser window that opens. Back in Brainwrite, ask a bot with Webex tools to list your spaces. The OAuth token stays with Composio and is never placed in a prompt or the app's interface.
Will a bot post in a Webex space without asking?
Not by default. Sending a message to a space or a person comes to you as an approval card unless you've allowed it, and denying hands control back to the agent. A digest bot can work with read-only tools, so it never has a send tool to ask about.
How do I limit what a bot can do in Webex?
In the bot's settings under Connected apps, choose all Webex tools, an exact list, or none. A catch-up bot needs only list spaces and list messages. Delete message, delete room, and membership tools can stay out of every grant, so the model is never offered them.
Can a bot schedule Webex meetings?
Not through this connection. Composio's Webex toolkit covers messaging, spaces, teams, people, and webhooks, with no meeting scheduling tools. If a bot needs to set up video calls, connect Zoom or Google Meet as well, or have it post the meeting link you created into the right space.
