How to connect Stripe.

Open Connected apps
In Brainwrite, choose Connected apps in the sidebar. The official app sets up the connection service for you; there's no key to paste.

Search for Stripe
Find Stripe and choose Connect. You can add more than one account later and label each, such as work or a client.

Sign in in your browser
Finish Stripe's own sign-in in your normal browser. The access token stays with the connection service and never enters a bot's prompt.

Choose which bots get it
In each bot's settings, give it all tools, an exact list, or none. Imported bots start with none, so nothing reaches your account by surprise.

Brainwrite and Stripe: questions

How do I connect Stripe to Brainwrite?

Open Connected apps, search for Stripe, and choose Connect, then complete the authorization in the browser window that opens. Consider connecting a test-mode account first, labelled test, before connecting live. Credentials stay with Composio and never appear in a bot's prompt.

How do I keep a bot from moving money in Stripe?

In the bot's settings under Connected apps, set Stripe to an exact list of read tools: customers, charges, balance transactions, and invoices. Leave out refund, charge, payout, and finalise tools, or set Stripe to no tools. Ungranted tools are never offered to the model.

Will a bot ever pay or refund without me?

Not by default. Refunds and other payment actions become approval cards in the conversation, and you can deny them. Only grant those tools to a bot that needs them, and avoid Always allow for anything that moves money. The Inspector shows each Stripe call a bot made.
