Trello AI agents that keep boards moving
Brainwrite connects Trello to your AI agents so they can add cards, move them between lists, set due dates and labels, and add checklists and comments. A bot can turn an editorial plan into cards, or read a board and tell you which cards have sat in the same list too long. You decide which Trello tools each bot may use.

Jobs
Jobs your team does with Trello.
Plan to cards
Give a bot a content plan. It creates one card per piece with a checklist for draft, edit, and publish, and sets due dates.
Stuck card report
A routine reads each list and reports cards with past-due dates or no recent activity, grouped by member.
Board clean-up
A bot proposes cards to archive from a Done list and archives them once you approve the list.
Set up
How to connect Trello.
- 01
Open Connected apps
In Brainwrite, choose Connected apps in the sidebar. The official app sets up the connection service for you; there's no key to paste.
- 02
Search for Trello
Find Trello and choose Connect. You can add more than one account later and label each, such as work or a client.
- 03
Sign in in your browser
Finish Trello's own sign-in in your normal browser. The access token stays with the connection service and never enters a bot's prompt.
- 04
Choose which bots get it
In each bot's settings, give it all tools, an exact list, or none. Imported bots start with none, so nothing reaches your account by surprise.

Weekly report
Each Friday the Chief of Staff gathers shipped work, open issues, and pipeline changes into one report you approve.

FAQ
Brainwrite and Trello: questions
How do I connect Trello to Brainwrite?
Open Connected apps, search for Trello, and choose Connect. Trello's authorization page opens in your browser; sign in and allow access. Return to Brainwrite and ask a bot with Trello tools to list your boards. The token is held by Composio and is never added to a prompt.
Can I let a bot add cards but not delete them?
Yes. In the bot's settings under Connected apps, switch Trello to an exact list of tools. Include adding cards, checklists, and comments, and leave out delete and archive tools. A tool that isn't on the list is never offered to the bot, and each allow or deny is logged.
Can a bot work across several Trello boards?
Yes. The connector can search across boards and read any board your Trello account can see, so one bot can report on several boards in one message. If you use separate Trello accounts for work and a client, connect both with labels and the bot picks the right one explicitly.
