How to connect SendGrid.

Open Connected apps
In Brainwrite, choose Connected apps in the sidebar. The official app sets up the connection service for you; there's no key to paste.

Search for SendGrid
Find SendGrid and choose Connect. You can add more than one account later and label each, such as work or a client.

Sign in in your browser
Finish SendGrid's own sign-in in your normal browser. The access token stays with the connection service and never enters a bot's prompt.

Choose which bots get it
In each bot's settings, give it all tools, an exact list, or none. Imported bots start with none, so nothing reaches your account by surprise.

Brainwrite and SendGrid: questions

How do I connect SendGrid to Brainwrite?

Open Connected apps, search for SendGrid, and select Connect. Composio's SendGrid toolkit uses an API key rather than an OAuth sign-in, so the page that opens in your browser asks for a key you create in SendGrid's settings. The key stays with Composio and never appears in a bot's prompt.

Should I give SendGrid a full-access API key?

You don't have to. SendGrid lets you create API keys with restricted permissions, so a key for reporting can skip mail send entirely. That limit sits at SendGrid, on top of Brainwrite's per-bot grants, which decide which SendGrid tools each bot may call.

How do I limit what a bot can do in SendGrid?

Open the bot's settings, find SendGrid under Connected apps, and choose all tools, an exact list, or none. A stats bot can get only the statistics tools. Tools outside the grant are never offered to the model, and each allow or deny is recorded in the decision log.
