The job

Doing it yourself, and handing it off.

Doing it yourself

A proper audit is several audits. Crawl the site for status codes, canonicals, and indexing. Check Core Web Vitals. Validate structured data. Read key pages for content quality and E-E-A-T. Compare page types against what ranks. Check whether AI search tools can cite you. Each check uses a different tool and produces a different spreadsheet, and someone still has to merge them into one list in the right order.

What the team does

  • Detect your business type and choose the checks that fit it
  • Audit technical SEO, schema, sitemaps, and content quality
  • Score AI citation readiness and check hreflang where relevant
  • Say when a check needs data it does not have, instead of guessing

FAQ

Questions about SEO audit

What does an AI SEO audit check?

This team checks technical SEO, content quality, on-page SEO, schema, performance and Core Web Vitals, AI search readiness, and images. Those categories are weighted into one SEO Health Score from 0 to 100. It also validates hreflang for international sites and flags pages that are the wrong type for their target keyword.

Does it need Google Search Console?

No, but it helps. Search Console and Google Analytics are optional connected apps. With them, the team works from real performance data instead of lab estimates. Without them, the playbooks that need that data say so and fall back to what they can check, rather than inventing numbers.

Will it change my website?

Not on its own. The team reports findings and produces fixes such as corrected schema, but its shared instructions say no one publishes, spends money, or turns on a schedule without your explicit approval. You decide which fixes to apply and when.

How is this different from the SEO growth plan?

The audit team is broader: five specialists covering technical, content, schema, competitive, and AI search checks, ending in one health score. The SEO growth team is smaller and turns search evidence into a ranked 30-day roadmap with weekly review routines. You can run the audit first, then use the growth team to plan the work.
