Google Sheets AI agents that keep your trackers current
Brainwrite connects Google Sheets to your AI agents so they can read values from a range, append rows, look up and upsert rows by a key column, create spreadsheets and sheets, format cells, and add charts. Several teams in the Brainwrite library use Sheets for plans, lead lists, and change logs. You pick which bots get which Sheets tools.

Set up
How to connect Google Sheets.
- 01
Open Connected apps
In Brainwrite, choose Connected apps in the sidebar. The official app sets up the connection service for you; there's no key to paste.
- 02
Search for Google Sheets
Find Google Sheets and choose Connect. You can add more than one account later and label each, such as work or a client.
- 03
Sign in in your browser
Finish Google Sheets's own sign-in in your normal browser. The access token stays with the connection service and never enters a bot's prompt.
- 04
Choose which bots get it
In each bot's settings, give it all tools, an exact list, or none. Imported bots start with none, so nothing reaches your account by surprise.

FAQ
Brainwrite and Google Sheets: questions
How do I connect Google Sheets to Brainwrite?
Open Connected apps, search for Google Sheets, and select Connect. Label the account, then finish Google's sign-in in the browser window that opens. Back in Brainwrite, bots with a Sheets grant can read and write spreadsheets. The OAuth token stays with Composio and never appears in a prompt.
How do I limit what a bot can do in Google Sheets?
In the bot's settings under Connected apps, choose all Sheets tools, an exact list, or none. A reporting bot might read values and append rows but not delete sheets or clear ranges. Tools outside the grant are never offered to the model, and each decision is logged.
Which Brainwrite teams use Google Sheets?
100x Marketing, Blog Writing, Competitor Watch, Reddit Lead Miner, and SEO Growth all list Google Sheets as an app, for plans, editorial calendars, change logs, lead lists, and opportunity maps. In each it's optional, and library teams arrive with apps off until you approve them.
