Google Calendar AI agents that find time and prep your day
Brainwrite connects Google Calendar to your AI agents so they can list events across your calendars, find free slots, create, update, and move events, and remove attendees when plans change. You sign in with Google in your browser, choose which bots get which calendar tools, and invites to other people come to you as approval cards unless you've allowed them.
Brainwrite · Google CalendarLook at my Google Calendar for tomorrow. For each external meeting, tell me who's attending and pull the last email thread with them from Gmail. Then find two free 45-minute slots on Thursday for a design review.
You connect Google Calendar once. Your Chief of Staff puts a bot on it.

Set up
How to connect Google Calendar.
- 01
Open Connected apps
In Brainwrite, choose Connected apps in the sidebar. The official app sets up the connection service for you; there's no key to paste.
- 02
Search for Google Calendar
Find Google Calendar and choose Connect. You can add more than one account later and label each, such as work or a client.
- 03
Sign in in your browser
Finish Google Calendar's own sign-in in your normal browser. The access token stays with the connection service and never enters a bot's prompt.
- 04
Choose which bots get it
In each bot's settings, give it all tools, an exact list, or none. Imported bots start with none, so nothing reaches your account by surprise.

Brainwrite and Google Calendar: questions
How do I connect Google Calendar to Brainwrite?
Open Connected apps, search for Google Calendar, and select Connect. Label the account, for example work, and complete Google's sign-in in the browser window that opens. Back in Brainwrite, ask a bot with a calendar grant to check your schedule. The OAuth token stays with Composio, never in prompts.
Can a bot read my calendar without changing it?
Yes. In the bot's settings under Connected apps, give Google Calendar an exact list of tools such as list events, find event, and find free slots, and leave create, update, and delete out. You can also grant all tools or none. Ungranted tools are never offered to the model.
Can a routine brief me every morning?
Yes. Set a routine on chosen weekdays, for example at 8:00, that lists the day's events and prepares notes. Each run starts fresh with the bot's tools and permissions. Local routines need the Brainwrite app running, while Brainwrite Cloud runs them around the clock.
