Check a local business's site and listings before the map pack does
To run a local SEO audit with AI agents, install the Local SEO Team in Brainwrite and give it a business website. Sable detects the business type and industry, then scores the site on six local signals. Radar cross-checks name, address, and phone across the site, its schema, and public listings, and maps nearby competitors from public map data.

Audit our plumbing company site for local SEO. We have 12 location pages; check whether any of them look like doorway pages, and confirm our phone number and address match everywhere.

Local SEO: done. Nothing sent.

The job
Doing it yourself, and handing it off.
Doing it yourself
Local search depends on details that drift. The phone number in the footer differs from the one in the schema. A location page was copied from another city with only the name swapped. The opening hours on the site are out of date. Checking means visiting each page and each listing by hand, writing down what you find, and comparing it all in a spreadsheet. With a dozen locations, it rarely happens.
What the team does
- Detect business type and industry before scoring
- Score six local dimensions and flag a primary category mismatch
- Flag location pages that fail the swap test
- Cross-check name, address, and phone everywhere they appear
- Map nearby same-category businesses from free public map data
What waits for you
- Which listings and pages to correct
- Any change to your Google Business Profile or website

How it runs
A run, step by step.
- 01
Install the team
Add the Local SEO Team from the team library. It needs no connected apps to start.
- 02
Give it the site
Share the website and, for multi-location businesses, the location pages to check.
- 03
Audit and gate
Sable scores the six local dimensions. On multi-location sites, its quality gate checks every location page for doorway risk before any of them gets a score.
- 04
Cross-check
Radar compares NAP across the site, schema, and listings, and maps nearby competitors. Findings that would need paid Maps data say so.

FAQ
Questions about Local SEO
Does it read my Google Business Profile?
Not directly. The team works from free, publicly checkable data by default and says so whenever a finding would need a paid Maps or DataForSEO connection it does not have. It checks GBP signals on your website, such as a Maps embed, visible hours, and category consistency, but never claims live profile data.
What is the doorway page check?
On multi-location sites, Sable runs a quality gate before scoring any individual location page. It applies a swap test: if you can swap the city name and the page still reads naturally with no loss of meaning, it is flagged as a doorway-page risk, however well optimised it otherwise looks.
Which kinds of local business does it handle?
Sable detects whether a business is brick-and-mortar, service-area, or hybrid, and whether it is a restaurant, healthcare, legal, home services, real estate, or automotive business. Each path changes which signals matter. If no industry is clear, it uses a generic local business path and tells you so.
